Luxury serviced apartment Whole buildings run by international hotel and serviced-apartment brands, including Japanese operators. A pool, gym, 24-hour front desk, cleaning and linen change make it much like living in a hotel. Suited to families, managers and anyone who wants a hassle-free life.

Affordable serviced apartment Small to mid-size buildings, common in District 1 (around Le Thanh Ton Street), District 3 and Thao Dien in District 2. Shared facilities are limited, but restaurants and shops are usually within walking distance, and some units have bathtubs. Popular with singles and younger professionals.

Condominium You rent a single unit in a condominium from a private owner. For the same size it is cheaper than a serviced apartment, and furniture and interiors vary from unit to unit. Suited to families and anyone who values space or cost.

Luxury serviced apartments (2BR) cost more in District 1 & 3. In District 2 and District 7, luxury serviced apartments mainly offer spacious family-sized units.

Condominiums are reasonably priced in Binh Thanh, District 7 and District 4. New luxury condominiums in District 1 are more expensive.

District 1 & 3 have the largest number of affordable serviced apartments (33 properties), giving singles plenty of choice.
