Immigration & residence

Immigration Department, City Police Immigration Office. Your landlord must register your temporary residence (usually within 12–24 hours of move-in); you'll need it for visa extensions and a temporary residence card (TRC).

Dining & nightlife areas

Thao Dien (cafés and international restaurants), District 1 (nightlife; Le Thanh Ton Street is known for its Japanese restaurants), Phu My Hung (many Korean restaurants)

Metro (MRT)

Line 1 (Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien) opened on 22 December 2024, with fares of 7,000–20,000 VND. Thao Dien and An Phu stations are on Vo Nguyen Giap. Line 2 (Ben Thanh – Tham Luong) is under construction and scheduled to open in 2030.
